What Goat Blade means
The Goat Blade (Yang Ren) is the Day Master's strongest position, its Prosperity (帝旺) branch: fierce power, like a sharp knife. Used well it is nerve and drive; used badly it is impulsiveness, conflict and accidents.
Old texts say the blade needs Seven Killings to control it: restrained by Seven Killings it becomes authority (Goat Blade harnessing Killings); too many blades with no control call for care with temper and risk.
